Anja Mujić is a Bosnian/Australian dance artist, musician, yoga/meditation facilitator and writer based in Berlin. She is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Ev & Bow Dance, and has been awarded residencies globally at the Banff Centre (supported by the Wappel-McLean Artist Award) and DAIR NSW (Supported by Ausdance and ACPE).

As a dancer/performer she has worked with Anna Martynenko, Stephanie Lake Company, InCapsula, Lenka Vagnerova, Twisted Element/Ginger and the Ghost, Joszef Trefeli/Critical Path, Ivey Wawn, Dirtyfeet, Nick Cave, Marina Abramovic, Helen Benigson, Billy Cowie, Gary Clarke, DIPTIK, Vervain Theatre, Jodie McNielly, Kay Armstrong/youMove Company, performed at at Dock 11, The Vanguard, Shopfront Theatre, Carriageworks, the Showroom London, Dance Week Festival Zagreb, Birmingham Hippodrome, The Place, Theatro Technis, Sydney Festival as well as in the A24 feature film Mother Mary, assisted Sommer Ulrickson for the world premiere of The Art of Being Human at Boulez Saal Berlin and has had her work commissioned by the Tanja Liedtke Foundation, Sport For Jove/She Said Theatre and FORM.

She has performed extensively as a musician including in the TV Show Top of The Lake and at the Cantabile Music Festival, Sydney Opera House and is an ongoing contributing writer for publications including TravelMag, Visual Verse Anthology, DANCEHOUSE DIARY and Be In The Know Berlin. Her first collection of poetic prose and verse, love letters to places… (Leschenault Press 2022),  was a number 1 best seller in its pre order period and has since been released in kindle and audiobook forms.
